Why a broker and a lender
Unified Home Loans brokers loans to wholesale lenders and also funds loans directly as a correspondent lender. That matters for home equity because the programs that fit unusual situations, such as a second mortgage qualified on bank statements or on a rental's income, live at a handful of specialty lenders that only work through brokers. One conversation with us covers both the ordinary programs and the specialty ones, and your file goes wherever it fits.
